ILM Educational Trust, the parent body of i MAX Schools, has established an ILM Book Bank recently to cater to the need of the disadvantaged group of students pursuing higher studies. The Book Bank is established with financial assistance from Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah through Students Islamic Trust, New Delhi. The ILM Book Bank aims at lending books free of cost for a period of a semester or one year to student's community for the pursuit of their studies in Arts, Science, Engineering and Medicine.
Inability to purchase books is a major hurdle faced by students pursuing higher education particularly medicine, engineering and computer related courses. The cost of books published by reputed authors / publishers is highly prohibitive and therefore the students tend to either opt for sub-standard books which are available in the market in the form of guides / notes or resort to taking photocopies of good books. Even then, a substantial sum of money has to be spent for photocopying and binding the books, albeit compromising on the quality of diagrams, pictures in some cases. The ILM Book Bank has been established to help the students to overcome all these difficulties by borrowing standard books from the ILM Book Bank and use them for smooth pursuit of their studies.
The ILM Educational Trust aims at supporting the education of Muslims at all levels and in needy situations . It runs two primary schools in Islamic way, gives scholarships, and conducts entrance examination coaching classes for the benefit of the students The contributions to the ILM Book Bank shall be sent in favour of
